    Default Electric 914

    This Porsche 914 came buy the shop, 144v motor connected to original trans. Kinda wierd, the only thing you could hear was the gravel underthe tires and the shift detents when he shifted.

    woah.. interesting..
    did u talk to him?
    like how long does it go on a charge and how much weight in batteriez does he got?

    he charges it daily @ work (so he can deduct the cost to his biz's power bill) said it was $0.25 for a "fill". bout 150 km for a fill

    woah.. only 25 cents worth of electricity for 150km? thats a hell of a deal! and its free for him anyway so even better.

    Wow, thats cool. Did he have a lot of trouble doing the conversion? Was it a home built conversion or a kit of some kind?

    too bad its soooo ugly. almost any car is a better platform than a 914.... but anyways its good to see people thinking outside the box. I though i was be an enviro-friendly guy with the family purchase of a TDi diesel.
