Sold for a 2% gain before the close. Don't trust holding this over the weekend.

Picked up 5k shares of avl at $2.58.
Try and see if it can get back over 3 in the next few weeks or months
    I'm in no rush

Picked npk last week. Finally in the money after today's run. Gonna try an get another .5 if I can.

I am in the process of transferring over from waterhouse, I will keep you posted. I noticed questrade runs extremely slow with chrome, but they say its faster on firefox and IE. so far the online live help has been excellent for helping me transfer over more holdings in TD.

TD Waterhouse call in support is a joke, they first told me that the private shares I bought from my company could be held in my TFSA and now that I have the certificate they say I can't, meanwhile I talked with questrade and they have no issue holding a CCPC shares with the required paperwork..

Yeah RIMM is a bit risky. Maybe holding for a day or two and try to get some small gains but long term there seems like a lot of risk involved. I read one analyst's report talking about single digits... I don't see them tanking anytime soon and may even get bought out but I'll be waiting until 12/share until I start seriously thinking about it.

I have accounts with TD, Interactive Brokers, and Questrade. They all have their plus and minus', but I'd say Questrade has had excellent customer support, and their new Questrade IQ Platform is quite good - better than the Interactive Brokers Web Trader. It's also very easy to get set-up with Questrade, whereas I recall IB being a huge hassle. The IB charting software with their downloadable platform is a bit better than that offered with QT, but that's about it. QT also has better educationals and some basic research, whereas IB has none. You can also get RRSP & TFSA's with QT, whereas you cannot with IB.

TD has better research, but trades also cost much more, which is why I've opted for multiple platforms.

Overall, QT is the best discount brokerage I've used. If you use the link at the top of my TSXTrader blog, you'll get $50 in free trades with QT as well!

Npk and avl are in some lonely green territory company today

Frickin tao. Sold in the mid 8s and have regretted it ever since.
Even had an opportunity to rebuy around 8 and didn't.

    DV:CVE DOLLY VARDEN SILVER CORP

    EXS:CVE Explor Resources Inc.

Here are a couple of other stocks I picked up, thought I would share.

I am also watching RBW:CVE very closely, started watching at 0.18 and I am kicking myself for not pulling the trigger, but funds were tied up.
