I've been holding HAL (Haliburton) for a few years now and it has finally broken out. My average price is $40/share and it's sitting at $71 now. I have about 45% of my portfolio in this stock which seemed crazy to a lot of people but I had a strong belief in this stock when I bought it(after the BP spill). Anyways, I always told myself if it retested $60 and hit $65 then I would sell, well now it's heading towards $75 and I'm still holding and really unsure if I should sell now as the market still says it has a lot of room to move. It's pushing 52 week highs every week now and pushed another 52 week high on decent earnings this morning which it's pulled back on since opening.

Anyone been following it? Any advice?

I haven't been following HAL closely, but I do like it as an investment, and if I was in your position, I would probably dump about half and keep the rest.

I've hugely bullish on the frackers, all sorts of people have been talking about how '14 is a turnaround year for them

If you want a more "pure" play on stimulation, Cal-frac or Canyon are probably higher leveraged that that specific service.

No advice specific to HAL, but i would definitely echo the advice to solidify your gains. Personally i would sell half.

You could also do a stop loss order... maybe for like $68-69 or so?

I felt good about Suncor and got in for $35 back in April. Sold some to cover, and bought some more last week. We'll see I guess.

Up 45% this morning on reporting 7.5M revenue.

I don't think it's too late to get into this company, if they release news about succesful testing of their prototype cell it is going much, much higher.

Nice gains dude! I was looking at this back in the 4c days. It came down to either sltd or fitx, and I ended up going with fitx

Thanks man! I really loved the fact that they had a small division generating revenue for them and I had faith in their prototype. I must admit, I had averaged down from $.09 to $.06 and was begenning to have my doubts. Glad that their SUNworks division is doing well and that their prototype is a hit.

It will be interesting to see where the stock goes in the next few months.
