I'm just curious. Why do you play UGAZ/DGAZ but not UWT/DWT instead of HOU/HOD? Just want less volatility for oil?

Only have so much cash in each acct. Plus im a bit superstititions. Done well on both so dont want to change up the combo

That's why I like to talk in percentage gains when it comes to talking about investing. It's all that matters, when you make 1% of 10 million bucks it's 100k but a 1% gain isn't anything to talk about.

That's why I like to talk in percentage gains when it comes to talking about investing. It's all that matters, when you make 1% of 10 million bucks it's 100k but a 1% gain isn't anything to talk about.

Im the opposite. I aim for 1-2% gains on 10k trades. In and out and look to do as many as possible. My goal is 150 profit per day as i have a day job. So any trading i can do is gravy.

This is my mindset too. Everyone likes to talk percentages, but making 40% on 100$ means nothing. What do I physically need to make every day to live comfortable? Personally I'm shooting for around 1000$/day. 1% sounds like nothing, but compounded over a year making 1% a day, means you're well over 200% for the year. A simple 150k trading account should satisfy my earnings requirements. Hitting home runs for huge percentage returns on single trades is a tough game to be consistent at. But a monkey throwing darts at a board of stocks could have a decent success rate of making 1% a day.
