TMA (Trimac transportation) up a little today as well, been eyeing this one for a long time, waiting for it to get in the 6.75ish range again to pull the trigger

I need more buying powaaaaaaarrrr
Not everyone here loves BTE. I feel like they are poorly managed and wouldn't survive a downturn well.Originally posted by GT.....O?

Hard not to like them. My average on 1000 shares is close to $8.90, contemplating hard on averaging down hard at todays price.
Who mentioned PTK several months ago? I think somebody mentioned it when the stock was about $1.50-$1.70, took a nice run up to $2.80 and then back down again.
I'm watching it closely now and am now thinking about taking another position.
I do not know sweet fuck all about the semi-conductor industry, but for those that do, what do you think of POET?

I got my dad to buy big into a biotech ETF which mostly holds small and micro cap biotech's. He loves it, such a resilient position and relatively uncorrelated with the market.
Only reason I don't own any is because its not capital efficient for how much $ I have.

RRX and....even though I said I'd never buy them... PWT. The price is just too low not to buy them right now - dividend cut or not. I'm planning on leaving the coin in for at least 6-12 months though - I really like how RRX is looking.

I threw up a little in my mouth. Having said that, I have $10 January calls on them that I bought a week before the accounting scandal. I worked there for some time and learned that just when you think it can't get worse, it ALWAYS does.Originally posted by Env-Consultant

Hahaha - I'm so ashamed of myself right now. The accounting scandal was icing on the cake - I've always hated them for bleeding themselves of cash through absurd dividends (I have my own thoughts on high dividends that I'll keep to myself). Now it's time to use and abuse PWT to make some cash.Originally posted by Feruk

Well I've been following ARIAD pharma since they had their drug pulled from the market and was crushed from about $22 to $2.Originally posted by themack89

Drug is now back on the market and is becoming approved in many other countries, they also just received breakthrough designation on one of their drugs they are in the process of becoming FDA approved. I managed to average down to about $6.10 a share, and it looks like the stock is finally making the right moves to become a rocket ship.
It's a pretty risky play, like most biotech but my gut just makes me feel good about this one..

I am betting on the latter and have the money that matters to me out in cash (been out for a couple weeks now. Will probably jump back in after new years). Stuff I am already hugely underwater on (i'm looking at you NFK/DXE) is in a holding pattern till they either do something again down the line, or go bust completely.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
Hard to get a solid read on the market, it looks like investor confidence is exteremly low. What I can't figure out is if we are going to get an upward correction this week, or if the markets are just going to bleed out for the rest of this month.

I'd like to forget about those shares completely destroying my overall profit/loss on my tfsa.
I can eat more hot wings than you.
