Hope some of yall got in Athabasca when it was cheap, deal was reached with the natives and Dover oilsands is that much closer to a go. I thought Questrade was glitching out when it showed me a 10% jump just now

Yep I got in at $7, was hoping this would go through. Didn't buy as much as I wanted but still nice to see a good jump.
Bought more TBE this week.
Anyone following Madalena Energy Inc (MVN)? Interesting combo of good results in Argentina as well as decent running room in Canada.
I was thinking about getting into them, don't really know enough about Argentina's politics though.
NFK's up 20%....
I have, and it's because the company I work for has adjacent property to them.Originally posted by Feruk

Very interesting as you have said. I've been debating on picking up shares for a while now.
DXE up 26% and NFK up 23% now...

Signature..... I ate it!!
Good news must be coming! They really need to get a handle on the leaks though... really unprofessional.
Let's hope this is the one. I've been holding on to my free shares for a while. Wish that first leak didn't happen though, or else I'd have a lot more shares.
I'm just trying to make my money back :P
Halliburton is on an absolute tear the last 2 weeks! Up 20%, pushing 52 week highs again finally!
Come on NFK! Lets finally get our money out of there lol.

Yeah I'll finally be selling this year, been holding for a couple years. Looking to dump a good chunk into TBE and cash in on the US->Canadian dollar exchange at the same time
What's the pitch on TBE? I was thinking about buying in but figured not to bother as I already have good exposure to the Provost region through someone else...RRX I think (too lazy to check my notes lol)
It's a stock I've held for a couple years, it was recommended by my ex's dad who is a day trader and he has helped me a lot over the years with some great tips. He told me to put money into TBE and just forget about it, that it would make me money without any work at all. That was before they even started their dividend.
A lot of analysts are big on it as well. Great management team and healthy results. They've done a great job thus far, had a couple stumbling blocks in the last year but that's over with now and I see an easy 30% upside. The dividend pays ya 7.5% as well I believe at this point.
I'm also really big into BAC and plan to buy more.
TBE has been mentioned a few times in this thread. The 8.5% divi is nice but overall pretty flat (at least for the last 5 months or so when I bought in). I may buy some more now that you mention they are over their hurdles. Need to do some DD tonight
I added the following to my portfolio:
GTAT
CSIQ
SLTD (Small gamble for me)
ARIA
3 Solar stocks and a bio-tech company. All look like they have great potential.
SLTD is developing a 3d solar cell that should be 25% more efficient that your standard cell. I can see huge potential once they're prototype testing is complete and these cells hit the market.
ARIA is interesting because there is a major short interest holding the stock down and they have nothing but positive news moving forward.
CSIQ and GTAT just seem like great mid-term investments, I can see myself making 2-300% on these by 2015.
Cheers
I've held TBE for a while as well. What I love about it is their ability to stay within their cash flow. Great control of their balance sheet unlike so many other juniors. They've said a few times they will not risk balance sheet to pay a dividend. I'll make some money, but I know over the long term I won't lose my shirt.
AudiPWR, I don't understand why these solar companies are worth what they trade at... CSIQ is a fat debt cow and none of these companies actually make money. That makes me nervous for companies that have market caps in the billions.
Unloaded some FNMA, ZNGA, and ZMS today.
Might add more TBE and FAP soon.
