About 4 months ago my friend changed my left wheel bearing while I was on vacation.
Around this time (I think it was after) the left wheel started making a bang noise when going over bumps at say 40+ km/hr. If I slow down so there isn't much up down movement of the car, or slam the brake while going over it - it seems to eliminate the sound.
Putting the car up so the wheel is off the ground, and pulling it up and towards you, the is a small popping sound. I think that this is what the problem is, but it is really loud while I am driving.
We drive on the left here, and they are all narrow single lanes, with the edge of the road being in shitty condition in many places.
On that same side, my coil over is leaking and its really bouncy. Just on that corner (front left.)
Has anyone had this problem before? Or some idea where I should start trouble shooting.
Thanks.
