is anyone else excited for this game??
no more free roam.
i hope they take this game and bring it back to the old nfs: hp days of just racing stock cars. unlike the whole ricer decade where the game was dedicated to painting rims and applying ugly decals and body kits.. anyone have any info if its supposed to be good or not?
i also heard they are splitting the brand into 3 parts?

nfs underground 1-2 good idea but shitty cars (cuz i really wanna rice out a cobalt)
the new ones dont have as much dedicated to "racing" but more to "bullshit" haha

The first NFS Underground was actually pretty cool, I enjoyed it... but it shoulda stayed a one-off, not a series. Will be interesting to see how NFS implements track driving o_O

Im super stoked for it, but Im starting school on Monday, and working as well, so there will not be much time for gameing anymore. I got Dirt 2 today, and I must say it is fantastic. Forza 3 im super stoked for too.

Same, I bought dirt 2 last Tues and love it and getting NHL on tues. No way ill have time for 3 games within 2 weeks, but Shift is looking good. Very tempting to buy.

Im guiessing youre talking about Dirt2? If so, everyone should have it by now, but the C.hills EB luckily had it in on Tues morning so thats when I picked mine up.

Wierd... .Deerfoot meadows and 130th ave didn't have it and neither did any of the Futureshops(at least according to online) until yesterday.

Seems to be some confusion about the release date:
Tuesday: EB
Wednesday: Dirt2 webpage
thursday: Codemasters/Futureshop

I thought that the ended up gettin super ricey, especially undeground 2 come on the lights and subs and all that haha. Although I like the drift modes. More so because I would just race buddies sliding all over the place.

Alll the story lines were goofy though. Bold and beautiful right on the money
