Shouldn't be that hard to install as long as this kit is designed to work with your current pieces and it should make the car rotate nicely.
If it's engineered properly the front bar should make the front end feel tighter and that combined with the rear kit should make the car want to understeer less than from the factory.
im not worried about installing it. I just want to know if anyone has used the kit, and if they needed to buy any control arms or anything to make it work.
I am very interested to know this as well.
I have a 97 coupe dx and the front lca's have no provision for a sway bar so if this kit comes with hardware to mount it on the stock arms that would be awesome.
From the picture it looks like its been designed for the Si models so you will need to swap out to Si lower control arms in order to fit this kit, at least the front sway bar.
^ word. I had to swap my front control arms for the ones that have the hole for the sway bar end link. As mentioned above I did get mine from an Si civic. Best way to check if the kit will bolt up is to take a look under the car and see if there is the OEM sway. I thought the SE civics had them just not the DX or CX ones.
just the si/sir came with sway bars up front.Originally posted by IntegraG2

A very welcome mod IMO.
^ cool thanks for the clarification. I noticed a huge different from just putting in the stock front sway...now im looking for a CTR front sway to match my ASR in the rear
im going to order them i will post the install and progress
The only difference is the non-si kit comes with a bracket that goes around the lca, the bar then hooks up to the bracket rather than the lca. It can be a bitch to install though, I couldn't use the metal spacers for teh bracket. You'll understand when you do it.
i was doing an oil changed so snapped a pic from my phone. You can make out the bracket that goes around the lca.
thats not so bad! i am still waiting for my kit to get here....
