Where can I purchase a good low profile jack for a decent price?
I've looked but a lot of what I found was from the states and shipping =
Does home depot carry anything? Crappy tire has nothing

400 for a fvcken floor jack .... it better suck you off while you're jacking it at that price.
Seriously, princess auto one is lightweight, 2tonnes, 4'', $120, and surprisingly isn't junk (mine has lasted over 5yrs now)
It's like buying an engine hoist - I can buy the one at Costco for $140, or I can buy the one at auto value for $400. Same thing, just re-branded.
princess auto should have the cheapest one. get the aluminum one, it should be under 200 for what you want.
Built not Bought.

1) They're all pretty much made in the same slave shop in China, just rebranded.Originally posted by asfjasljj

2) Unless its lifting capacity is 500lbs, there's no way it's 2''. The lowest 2tonne I've ever seen is 3.5''.
here is the link

But 2 3/4'' <> 2'' :p
And it's still out of the same chinese slave shop
my bad only 3/4" LOL
doesnt matter where its from im still happy with the jack
I got mine from Walmart...A Torin - fukin great - it was less than $40, its a 2.5 ton with 3.5" min height. The shape of the lifitng arm is key for clearing sideskirts etc...still works great, had it for 3 years

grab some 2x4 pieces, drive on them then jack up your car save some $.
I can get anyone the jacks we use on a daily basis in our shop. They are definitely not lightweight aluminum as they are for industry use so they are extremely durable, but they are the lowest jacks we have ever used. We don't use a hoist at all in our shop and use nothing but these jacks and we do seriously lowered cars every day, and over the last 2 years there has only been a couple cars we have had to roll onto boards first. From floor the the plate surface is roughly 2.25"...
I can get these for $229.00 each if anyone is interested.
Wow, 2 1/4'' is pretty farking low! I didn't think that existed.Originally posted by tirebob
