Part of the reason I wear Ed Hardy is because of the fit. And only a small portion of Ed Hardy shirts actually have rhinestones on them, most are just Ed Hardy's tattoo designs. These designs are pretty sick, which is the other part of the reason I wear them.

    This.

Plus, theres a lot of douchebags out there that wear DC, Volcom, and west 49 shit in general, so what do you make of this

Haha nothings wrong with DC, I have 4 pairs of DC's in my closet actually. The point I was making is that there's douchebags out there wearing all types of clothes, yet a thread gets written about the ones with Ed Hardy on their backs.

True enough and I understand your point of view, but this is what I don't understand then. Why do certain bars make you turn them inside out or those wearing them, aren't allowed in? Is there a common trend/persona found with those who wear those shirts?

I'd rather buy 120$ worth of porn then a T-shirt.

    IMO...

Because many gang members or ppl with gang ties wear CA/Ed Hardy, and these individuals are trouble (...obviously), so they wanna keep them out. At least thats what I've heard, there are likely more reasons than this though.

While I think its kinda shitty, I still can't blame them. If 60% of the ppl that start fights in bars are wearing these clothes, I'd wanna keep em out too. Fortunately, I don't spend a lot of time at the bar haha.

    ... Didn't think so.

Some of you are far too concerned about other peoples' clothing. If someone wants to overpay for ridiculous shirts, why do you care? Nobody enforces it on you! (Unless you're in the Hells Angels. Then you better get used to it)
This thread is about opinions, people are allowed to have them.

Example: I think you are a douche bag, enjoy your bedazzled shirts.

ive seen Dolce & Gabbana and versace at Winners before does this make them overplayed too? I'm not defending Ed Hardy/CA at all but saying "I saw some at Winners they must be overplayed" doesn't make much sense. I've also seen New Balance kicks at Army & Navy

yea alot of the problem with edhardy is the persona that comes with it.
and i heard the clubs in Edmonton were not letting people wearing it in because of how the clothes are worn by alot of gang members.

personally i say if you can afford edhardy skip it and shop clubmonaco

The reason I hate Ed Hardy:

MOST people who wear that brand, are the same people who wore all the JL hype before, and now smet/dom rebel/CA/Ed hardy.
Basically, they are brand whores who just wear whatever they're friends wear and think they are "the shit". They will wear whatever trends come.

I hate those type of kids...your a douche bag, your not cool at all for following your friends. Your frosted tips and trucker hat also don't make you stronger in the gym. (hate when they wear that shit in the gym, and start bicep curling in the squat rack! )

As for those of you that wear it for fit...don't be offended by my post, its not directed at you.
I wear designer clothing as well, just hate Ed Hardy because of all the kids in the gym wearing them.

PS. they are over priced as shit.

Couldn't have said it any better!

Gotta love the "bros" in the gym w/ their Ed Hardy/CA gear rocking a matching trucker hat tipped to the side and almost to the point that it's falling off.

    LOL

Sooooo I hate to be a dick, but Jaymez is right here. The FIT of CA shirts is unreal, especially for bigger dudes such as myself. The gayness of their shirts though is reason enough to not buy CA or Ed Hardy. That is my 2c.

Couldn't agree more except the JL part. I love JL stuff but only because it fits me very well. Same reason I have a good amount of Lacoste polos. Not really because of the brand but because they fit me well.

Not a big fan of the bedazzle on shirts. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

nothing wrong with lacoste polos in my opinion as long as you dont act like tough shit. i hate it when "thugs" wear polos and try to be hardcore. like honestly come on its a golf shirt. same with JL

    Don't forget the undershirt lmao

I went to CIM yesterday. Went to all the stores, and so many fucking little brand whore 16-17 year olds.

There were these two kids, so much acne it was disgusting, tipped ed hardy hats, and they got excited they could buy jeans together to save money. Shiney-happy sweaters, fuck.

You can't wear 3 designer items and instantly have style. No.
