Just picked one up. They're really slow, if you get it with a SATA 4200rpm hd, its even worse.

HD/ram is non-upgradeable. looked online on how to do it, looks like a lot of work and could void warranty. 1.8" drive not the standard 2.5"

    It gets hot.

Has that stupid button on the track pad. MBP has the track pad as the button it self.

    Shitty speakers on it.

few usb ports, limited hd options, no super drive... remote drive is so uselessly slow too, so you have to spend 99 for the air super drive.

run vanilla and you wont have any problems.
just installed fresh snow leopard on msi wind, updated to 10.6.1, works flawlessly, no need to re-install kext/patches.
need pick-up/delivery in Lethbridge/Medicine Hat area?

Did you even READ the specs before you bought one?

This isn't a regular laptop, it's a super light, thin portable to be used for travel. They aren't meant to be workhorses.

got one for the old lady, I have a 15" macbook pro.

Shitty how it doesn't have a built in Ethernet port, you have to carry an adapter around if you dont have access to wireless internet. Stupid single speaker, so weak ass.

Yea Macbook Air's better be in for an upgrade, their technology is quite outdated.
