Allmakers Auto repairs is located at 224-41 Avenue NE, Calgary AB.

I am thinking of taking my Subaru there for maintenance. Has anyone used this shop before and what was their experience like? Any feedback would be great.

Did a beyond search nothing popped up.

heard good and bad things about them from different people. I would personally go see Jackie Tong @ Balance Auto Garage as he works on subarus very often, ive also never heard anything negative and he is not far from all makes and likely cheaper.

Even my parents go to Balance Auto so they definitely do everything from all the specialty stuff to mom and pop vehicles.

I've been going to All Makes Auto for 3 years as I have 2 Subaru Outback's.

On both cars, I've had the timing belts replaced, front/rear brakes, and fluids replaced (CVT Transmission, front and rear diff etc).

I was happy with quality of work and service. I can't comment on how their price compares to other independent shops as I didn't really shop around.

I suspect, with independent shops, that the service prices can also depend on the quality of the aftermarket parts they are using. I have no clue which parts All Makes uses and where they fall on the hierarchy scale. I do know they would only use the Subaru timing belt kit and wouldn't use any of the aftermarket brands (like Gates, who makes the kit for Subaru) but that's probably different for parts like brakes etc.


Out of curiosity, is Jackie Tong at Balance the same "Jackie" that used to work at Zero Limit? He worked on my S2000 a few years ago and I was really happy with him. Nice to know there is another option that specializes in Subaru vehicles.
