    I usually soap it up a couple of times a year as well. Just liquid dish soap in a hose end sprayer.

    I was looking for something myself, as our gravel "poop deck" runs off into the grass in the back yard, so didn't want to use anything harmful to the grass, or the dogs.
    There's a great product called "Kennel Maid" (I think, will confirm and correct if needed). If you can find a bottle, grab it. I got the last big jug that The Barking Lot had, they still had a small one last time I was in.
    Apparently the guy who makes it passed away and no-one is taking over.

    You mix 2 oz. to a gallon of water, and spray. Come back an hour later, and no smell. Not a cleaner/chemical smell, just nothing. Miracle product!
