Smile Westbound on Memorial Dr. around midnight?

Headed home from work tonight, driving down Memorial Drive between 14th St. and Crowchild, came across like a 240SX import...right-side drive...

We both booked it westbound down the looooong stretch of Memorial just past the CBC Radio Station... not sure if this guys registered on this site, but let me know if youre here, Id like to know what exactly you got running under your hood....

Haha a 240SX import? So a 180sx? Any color details? Kits? SR20DET is stock engine for a 180...

So no secret there. I'm guessing boost controller, exhaust, intake.
Definitely worth wanting to know/race some people.

Maybe he's got the header manifold or something good like that, I guess you never know.

Not familiar with imports, I drive domestic.

As for colour...beige? Black hood. HID headlights. Looked like he was doing some work to the rear bumper, dont know what a 'stock' 180sx looks like, as all the 240sx's I ever see are modded, so I cant comment on a kit or not...but it was worth a shot.

Fair enough. Those jdm's are cheap power IF you can stand to be on the right side driving.

Most upgraded turbo SR20DET powered cars on the street push 250-350WHP considering S13s are quite light, they are quick. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a stock motor, with a disco potatoe, FMIC, full exhaust, bigger injectors, and a tune.

    180SX (RHD)

240SX (LHD) (this ugly 240 has the worst rims ever but you get the point)

As you can see there's very little differences. Turning signals are different and that's pretty much it exterior wise. Interior obviously RHD vs. LHD. Motorwise 240's come with underpowered KA24DE, 180's come with SR20DET boosted stock, decent light quick motor.

But like Ray was saying, to make a 180sx a pretty damn quick car you only need a couple things. Stock they're pretty quick too.
