Organized Cruise to support Race City - Saturday September 26

I was at Race City tonight, and it has been decided to have a very large cruise into and around downtown tomorrow evening. Meeting spot is Home Depot by Chinook at 5:00pm, leaving at 5:30pm. They are trying to get as many (hundreds hopefully) cars as possible to come out! Come show your support for motorsports in Calgary.

A reminder to keep it legal and do not do anything stupid. We want to show ourselves as mature people, with a passion for legal motorsports. Media attention will likely be attending!

This might be the "make it or break it" event for the City council vote on Monday, a big, well behaved crowd is needed.

AS was mentioned, everyone meet at the Home Depot parking lot at 5:30 & we should mark our cars with something like "Save Race City" on our back windows.

I'll make sure there is plenty of white shoe polish for this at the meeting.

We'll head down McLeod Tr to 6th ave, turn left & head to 7th st SW. Another left & onto 9th Ave & then back to Mcleod Tr. Continue going this circuit as long as you feel like.
