Home Shelving Help

My dilemma is I have a wire shelving rack in my closet, and from putting too much weight on one side, the shelving came apart, I tried putting it back together but no dice, the problem is, theres 2 white screw thingies that go into the drywall and then 2 nails that go into the 2 white things, and when the nail goes in, the screw opens up 2 hooks that grabs onto the drywall....since the weight pulled it out, the holes are too big to hold the screws in place now, what are my options to fix this?I want to use the same holes as its aligned and centred...any help would be appreciated as I have no home improvement expertise

Trying a bigger size butterfly anchor

Once those holes get bigger, it needs bigger things to fit snug in there.

I was thinking of doing that but thing is, the white screws that plank out, the nails that go into them go through the holder that holds the wire shelving up....unless I'm supposed to get rid of the white screws entirely and screw that gadget through the holder into the wall?

The white screw things arent grabbing into the wall anymore once the nail goes in, since the hole has been stretched, my solution was to put tons of glue in hole, put screw in, nail it in and wait for everything to dry ...

IN MY OPINION as a do-it-yourselfer... yea, just buy the "butterfly anchor" in replacement of the "white thingys" as you call it... What happens is that the 2 metal "wings" goes into the hole, and as you tighten the screw, it spreads, hooking onto the backside of the drywall. You know what I mean???

I live in a high rise condo, I have no home improvements to do to enter sadly , I do plan on tiling my balcony where the BBQ is on, but that won't be til after winter

An update, so I went to Home Depot and got these Hollow Wall Anchors as pictured below in 1/8" sizing, followed the instructions, but I guess the size I chose, was almost the same size as the hole I put it in, or the drywall was weak but it did not work, and now the hole is bigger than I started with and the anchor fell behind the wall since I couldnt yank it out, so now the hole that started as the size of a pen, is now, almost like a nickel/quarter

To remedy this situation, I went back to Home Depot and bought "Awesome Anchor, The Oversized Hole Repair Anchor"




I will post results/failures 2morrow

The Awesome Anchor Oversized Repair Hole fixed one side of the problem, the Hollow Wall Anchor fubared the other side...followed these instructions as per this video



But it did not anchor out after screw went in, it gripped into the drywall and the whole anchor started spinning and thus went right into the back and made an even giant hole that I can fit my index finger through....





So now, I assume my only option is to patch the hole and start over? And laugh it up, a simple fix ended up in epic failure for me...FML

Hahaha oh man. You shoulda just cut a piece of 1" x 1" or heck a 2" by 2" or 2 by 4" cut it to length (12" or however deep the shelf is) and screwed it to the wall under the shelf.

I did, I used a variation of it...the hollow wall anchor as per the Home Depot guy advise but my guess is the surrounding hole, all the drywall was cracked and etc which is why the anchor did not grip, it just acted like a drillbit and went right through....but yeah, both holes are exposed now as the holes are bigger than the stuff I bought, so now I will be cutting a square out and patching it up


Any tips on how to do the patching TomcoPDR?
