Anyone get tension headaches?
I seem to get them often now, and I tried popping Tylenol (two red rapid release ones), but they don't seem to do anything for me. Advil any better?

is it radiating from your neck/shoulder area?
If so, I have the same problems. You need to stretch it out. I try to stretch my neck and shoulder every 15 minutes at work. I usually tilt my head to one shoulder and use my hand and pull my head towards my shoulder to stretch out my neck.
it helps alot
I have been getting those pretty regularly especially whenever im stressed out or cope for time. Tylenol dont work for me sadly
My doctor recommended a combination of Tylenol and Advil which works surprisingly well. Tylenol on it's own doesn't do much for me, but if I take one of each I actually notice results.
That is exactly what I tried last night..did nothing though. I ended up with a glass a wine and passed out. Stress is fun isn't it.
I tried the Tyelnol rapid release and the Advil together,
tried the Tylenol migraine as well. ... I am going to the Dr.'s office to see what I can get on Thursday.
My DR gave me a prescription for Naproxen an NSAID

does it bother your stomach? I easily get sick from pain medication so I am curious.
But the headaches have to end, because the stress isn't going to get any better anytime soon in my life.
I use Excedrin Tension Headache pills !
Stomach irritation is quite common with most NSAIDs. Are you taking the pills after some food? If not that usually helps.Originally posted by Kritafo

What kind of things to do you do to stretch it out? I think that might actually be the problem.
