One side has a tire on it, the other side doesnt.

I just dragged it closer to the shop with another mini truck.

Good idea. Plenty enough power to make it go sideways. This is very interesting project.

Keep us posted and good luck

I just picked up some tires from a guy in calgary and they have some random wheels that are a 5x??? bolt pattern. If you want the rims, they're all yours.

Thanks guys, Motor and stuff i think will be the easier part.

THe front is going to be the hard part: dont know what im going to do for brakes, and steering. I dont know if a stock kei truck can handle the power for brakes.

i just have never understood this whole... oh noes i haz more power this means i need to stop fast!

what does that have to do with braking? do you stay on the gas when braking or something?

same weight... same stopping distance (sure sr20 will be heavier then 660cc kei car motor but not heavier then fully loaded up stock kei car)

I think he will be going just little bit faster than a stock minitruck when he is braking, but thats just me.

a general rule of thumb is that the brakes should be able to stall the motor. i highly doubt that the trucks stock brakes are enough to stop a KA24 or a SR20.

i don't have any parts but i could donate some fab time.

stall the motor how? letting the clutch out in gear would stall the motor no?

imo for a "drift truck" matching the brakes to the weight of the truck is enough, you will not be hot lapping this thing so over heating is not an issue
