Default wtb: stock mr2 wheels or other cheap winter wheels

So I finaly ended up buying an mr2 after looking for about 6 months, bad timing I know since I won't really get to enjoy it until next summer. Anyways I will be driving this car over the winter, except for the really shit days so I am looking for a cheap set of stock wheels or any other rims you would let go for cheap. Looking for 15 or 16". If you have a set of wheels with winter tires on them already that is fine too.

Has anyone here run steelies on their mr2? I've called around 5 tire shops and none of them carry steelies that would fit an mr2.

I've got a set of JDM 93+ wheels with almost new Hankook RS2s (essentially a street legal race tire). 195/50R15 in front and 205/50R15 in rear I think? I'd have to double check the sidewall ratio.

$650. The rims alone cost me $400 and the tires were about a little over $100 a piece. Will not separate...

Thanks for the offer, but the the purpose of the wheels was to run winters on them. Right now I am debating whether or not I will even drive the car at all this winter, so I am just hoping to find a really cheap set of stock wheels that I can put some cheap 15" rubber on and drive the car on the not so bad days.

My suggestion would be no. Snow and salt and whatever crap they spray on Calgary roads is brutal on cars. I would never subject my MR2 to that... Unless your car is JDM. j/k.

In all seriousness, the car handles like crap in the snow and it's too low. It's just not meant to be driven in the winter...
