Sounds like your transmission is on it's way out.

Yes it's auto - he mentioned it in another thread. When you feel a kick as you are slowing down, the transmission isn't shifting right.

Take it to a transmission shop to make sure. It's going to be pricey to fix it.

ok, first of all where should the transmission fluid level be? cause there is "Upper Level" and "Lower Level" as labeled in my Integra...right now its sitting at "Lower Level"......and second I am only the second owner and how could the cars transmission be gone with only 106k on the car?

shoud I have the dealer take care of it, cause I just bought it a month ago?.........

    BTW the car is auto

upper level is for when the car is hot, lower is cold

try topping up the tranny fluid -- if it's low it could cause not-so-smooth gear changes. . .

with 106k, it shouldn't be in too bad of shape . . .

    Default .

hot: meaning the vehicle is at normal operating temp. (1/4 up the temp gauge to 1/2 way up; depends on the vehicle as well)

    cold: less than stated above

if you are losing fluid, you could have a leak (could be lines, trans. pan, etc.). At that point you should check out where the leak is coming from. If you don't have the resources to look (min: floor jack, jack stands, trouble light) under the engine bay, then take it to someone who can, or to a shop.

    hope this helps . . .

my car does the same, it could also be the bars that go from the control arm to the front cross member, Can't rememeber there name, tractio bar, torsion bar or something, they might be loose, one of mine is and it kicks everytime you stop or go.

If it's gonna be expensive to fix, do a manual swap!!

i'm having the same problem with my lude. But i have way more clicks on my car. Mine doesn't do it slowing down. Only when i come to a stop and then gas it again it jerks a lil. I suggest you take it to a mechanic and get it checked out.
