haha that'd be pretty wicked, but I don't think I have the skills to complete such a task in a timely manner.

Now that it's getting warm-ish, the motivation is starting to creep back slowly...

Of course until you realize your welder's water cooler split a couple pipes and leaks all over your garage floor. Apologies for the instagram pics, just turns out to be the easiest way to save/share the pics.

Made a new bracket for the coil and new boost controller solenoid, trying my best to keep the high tension wire away from the turbine housing...

Need to get a couple different fittings to clean things up but got the basics down. Damn she's dusty and dirty lol.

Finished installing the profec, got it all dialed into around 10psi. Put a few km on it, took it back apart.

Time to take care of some pesky toe issues. Extreme lowering causes unavoidable toe gain, which pulls the wheel too far forward in the arch. Replacing the factory mounts with some rod ends, one with a double adjuster for easy geometry changes. So far I've just got the jig made up.

Finally got some time (and parts) to work on the control arm stuff. Apologies for the potato quality pics, the single weakness of the note 3 is its camera is aids.

Hopefully finishing it off sometime this week so I can get the jetta into the garage for its coilover and more install.

I did give it a brief thought but the amount of work would make it not financially feasible.

I just used one Jig, and cut it apart to make the second jig. I think I'm going to re-do the arms over the winter with a bit of a different method so i'll need em again. I will probably be selling these arms if they don't break lol.

Got the toe alignment dialed close to zero in the rear and took it for a drive and to wash it. The car drives an unbelievable amount better now with the rod ends in there. It doesn't feel like it's fighting it's way down the road. The suspension feels free to articulate and the ride is much better.

Definitely a huuuuge +1 over the poly stuff.

haha the car definitely isn't my daily driver. I've been working on it off and on for a long ass time now so it's been a garage queen for the last 8 or so years. getting pretty close to completion though now.

Did a shoot with the guys from dubdynasty, turned out pretty good. Probably would have turned out better if they had better source material to shoot at :P
