Phones Leaked
Not sure if this is true or not, but I would like to pick up the new BB 9700 if Wind offers it next month.

supposedly its 90 dollers for all unlimited everything too.
Sounds pretty sweet from what I've read so far. Hopefully they can hold true to the low costs and no contract/system access fees.
I doubt it would be this high of a price. Public Mobile has announced a $40 unlimited fee for their rate plan. Unfortunately they are only only going to be in the Toronto area. Unless they have a roaming agreement with Robbers when they launch.Originally posted by GQBalla

All this seems pointless. Some of these new carriers will die off within a year. The ones that will make it will be bought out and their plans phased out.

That's pretty sweet actually
On a side note: I thought a while back t-mobile was supposed to come to canada what happened to that?
i heard it was 90 unlimited with blackberry data too.Originally posted by luv2ride_bikes

not sure though.
i know wind has started hiring
I'm $90 unlimited data is fair. Once you offer unlimited, you can't stop people from tether and kill the network. I know I would.Originally posted by luv2ride_bikes

I would rather they put some realistic number like 10GB instead of unlimited.
I don't think Wind Mobile will be bought out. They have a lot of money behind them. IMO, they will be good competition to the big 3. I for one can not wait to dump Rogers, and will do so the day Wind is launched in Calgary.Originally posted by kenny

Wind has been hiring for a while now in Toronto and Calgary. $90 unlimited nation wide w/ data would not be too bad of a price. As long as that is all you have to payOriginally posted by GQBalla

is wind GSM network??
Bye bye Robbers! Never getting a cent from me again you fuckers!
Yes it's a hspa network that will run gsm phones, unlikely they will get bought out by any of the big 3 with orcasom backing them, the important thing to keep in mind are the results of the crtc hearing that will be released on the 29th on whether or not they can launch, but i'm positive they should be able to launch if not maybe shaw might jump in and take overOriginally posted by trliniar

Wind is GSM but runs on 1700/2100 frequency, sorry to all the iPhone users that want to switch over. A very high percentage of Roger's phones will not work with this company, but all unlocked T-Mobile phones will.
There will also store 5 locations in Calgary!
So its kinda like Metro PCS in the US with no additional fees. They just recently added unlimited international for $5

do they have pay as you go?
i think i read somewhere they're running on 1700/2100
so... no unlocked phones
well... VERY few anyways
unless that's false info
The frequency information you have is true. You can use any unlocked phone that support those frequencies. I beleive T-Mobile phones are on that frequency, from what I ready anyway.Originally posted by jwslam
