Default LF: Graphics card with HDMI output

As titles states I am looking for a graphics card with HDMI output, preferably something that is decent for gaming and will run newer games.

    Budget is $200

I have a 3870x2 for sale. It has more than enough power for modern games. Dx10 card. And if we are lucky it will receive a dx11 update (I have another one in my comp.)

    That video card looks great

My knowledge in computers is limited and this might be a dumb question, but do you know if this video card will fix a pentium 4 motherboard?

the card should fit...just that its pretty useless as it will be the most powerful thing in that comp

Lol I know the motherboard is 5 years old, but I can still run most new games on it.

Can you explain why it would be useless?

I apologize again my knowledge is limited.

If it's 5 years old....should hopefully be pci-e, but could be agp in which case it wouldn't work.

Another thing too, is some of these high end cards need additional power, so they will require not only a bigger power supply, but also additional 6 pin pci-e power cords.

Also gaming is not all about graphic card, cpu and ram also matters and on something thats 5 years old you would never get the most benefit out of it.

eblend is right. With a $200 videocard budget, I thought you had a better system. Your system itself is probably worth less than $200, so this card would be a waste, if it fits. I believe the X800XL came in both AGP and pci-e versions, so that doesn't tell us much. Motherboard model would settle the issue though.

Maybe something like this would be a better option for you until you upgrade the computer:

keep in mind this will not give you audio, only video through hdmi in most cases.

What are you trying to do exactly? Plenty of TVs have standard VGA inputs as well, and even DVI
