    Cool Did Shaw increase download/uplaod speeds again?

    Cuz if they did, I'm happy with that!



    I'm on shaw basic cable, no extreme or anything and this is constant! I'm just seeing these results today?!

    I don't know, it seems pretty normal to me? I've always been pretty content with Shaw High Speed Internet. However, I did get a download speed half of what I did below on my first test though haha.




    I've experienced Telus and damn it sucks balls, especially that modem/router combo bullshit. Terrible.

    hmmm, Why is my UL much faster then yours? And have they always had 20mb/sec DL??!!

    I'm on a wireless connection and Shaw High Speed internet




    Maybe they did change them again, cuz High Speed Warp, the fastest one downloads at 25MBPS but it could also just be the powerboost thing

    yah i noticed this as well. Go check out shaw.ca and under high speed they are shuffeling things around so I wouldn't be surpriced. My parents had lite speed and I upgraded them to high speed as well just last weekend and did a speed test and it was like 15mb, which is about double of the 7mb they advertised, so my guess is they bumped up the speeds

    ok, how accurate is this? Something seems off. How many test did you guys run to get all similar results?

    pretty sure speedtest is no longer accurate with the addition of powerboost.

    damn that doesn't seem right, even if you magically had 100mb line, getting 96% efficiency out of that would be next to impossible, I am guessing it is some powerboost thing like the guys are talking about.

    Was at my parents house today and they got a call from shaw that says they just quadrippled lite speed to 1MB and 256upload free of charge, so I am sure they are upping everyone

    I've been trying to get the fastest Nitro service with a static IP. Need static for my site-to-site VPN to the office. Is that available yet, if not, can you hack it so it's available?
