The electric fan I had in my TJ seemed pretty damn water proof.

Yeah, I was just kidding around. The water wasn't the problem, it was the silt in the muddy water that temporarily gummed up his fan.Originally posted by Unknown303

I had a feeling it was some kind of mud related failure.Originally posted by BerserkerCatSplat

Any debris. Even clear water with a little bit of grass particles will do it in.Originally posted by Unknown303

Hell mine quit in the winter because of snow on the highway.

Well considering how I could dunk the little red Jeep there that fan never came close to failing once. Never had a glitch with it.

My XJ has one electric and one mechanical fan. I was going to go dual electric but it sounds like that may be a bad idea if I plan on going mudding.

05 Rav4 , wife made me buy it.
Dual electric is actually better if you plan on lots of mud and water crossings. Having the option to shut down both can save an engine from hydrolock and helps keep the engine bay and rad a bit cleaner.Originally posted by Mibz

On topic; Some flex shots.
Pissed since I'm no where near full stuff or pulling the rear tire off the ground, I could have gotten another foot up the ramp at least.
On the ground.
Jeep looks great Fraser!

Thanks we need to get out again sometime, maybe around September since I have no days off until then.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
Jeep looks great Fraser! Nice Ramp pics, what was your score?
I ramped a 714, I didnt want to break anything since my new front shocks are not in. I probably could have safely gotten to 750 with the front Bilsteins in.

Fuck yeah, good to see Fraser's ride is on the road.
That yota is siiiick! If I wasn't poor as fuck and in Victoria I'd throw you an offer on it lol. Trade for broken ass '90 4runner?
And I suppose I can put a picture of my broken ass 4runner. This is it last summer mid-fix. It is now not running due to BC inspectors wanting 4 new ball joints at the front...
