If you think that is big, check out the Rodents of Unusual Size (commonly called an R.O.U.S.) down in the Fire Swamps.
Some people don't think ROUSes exist, but I know a guy that was mauled by one and barely managed to escape. So watch out!

Soo......wtf is it anyways? Any conclusions?
Alright so heres probably what happened... I see this sometimes at my moms clients houses who have mouse problems.... When you use some types of poisons, mouse poisons, the mice die shit'ing themselves to death. It looks like there was blood end trails in one of those pictures. The mouse probably ate some of that poison somewhere close to you, probably one of your naighbours, managed to get into your garage, and die there.
Btw... if your naighbours put out poisons like that, theres usually hundreds of these little fuckers around. notice one, theres usually another 10 around.
no offensive but your naighbours are probably dirt bags. usually in the cases i see anyway. probably live like dodents themselves.
Looks like a Luzon Cloud Rat. That is definitely not indigenous to North America. I think it's someone's pet.

at being stupid
Make a hat, then take a pic.
It is a packrat, the wikipedia link provided was correct. It is not a snake, chinchilla, or cloud rat
My parents caught one of these in a live trap, it was running around between the first and second floor of the house. Also had a friend catch on that was running around in his house. Although both those places are in remote area's....
You guys spend too much time in the city, your reactions to a dead rat are amusing......
The rat posted IS a Woodrat aka Packrat.
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
i on that part too hahaOriginally posted by FullMetal
loool look guys u see something funny? lol that cat bag in the background lol the cat is even holding its breath loool
Should have turned that monster into a hood ornament.
Also look around your neighborhood and see if anyone is selling fur coats. Maybe there's a packrat farm around your house. Plus you could score a sweet fur coat in exchange for not turning them in.

I guarantee its a packrat, here in Ontario they are not common, but they are spotted. Looks identical to what's here.

I didn't think rats had fur on their tails, but seeing that bushy tailed wood rat makes me pretty sure that is what it is.
way too big to be a mouse or vole, and they don't ahve furry tails like that either.
