    About the car..

I've had this car since Aug of '06, imported from Illinois. Bought it from a middle aged attorney, who had it tastefully modified. Been parked for the last 4 winters I've had it. Just to clarify; the car is still FWD platform with LSD, and GT-4 exterior.

Car is currently parked for the year (no insurance), but is still available for viewing.

In no hurry to sell, but will entertain offers and open to possible trades.

Car runs great. Its very fast - I estimate about 260whp at 16psi with lightening fast spool. I am confident that with race gas or water injection, this is a 300whp car at 19psi (unlike the stock turbo - the GT28RS stays in its efficiency zone all the way up past 25psi!). As it sits, it would be a low 13 second car with a good driver and better tires. Please keep in mind that although I have added a slightly larger turbo (GT28RS) and other basic performance upgrades, the engine is unopened and it retains the stock AFM and ECU which greatly improves reliability. The spring for the internal WG has been upgraded to open at 10psi.

I would like to point out a few of the things about the car that make it even more appealing:

    1. Converted E-153 tranny from the MR2 Turbo with all the correct shift linkage and axel parts. The tranny has no grinds, shifts perfect and is in great condition. This tranny is good to 400+whp so you will never have to worry about it. In my opinion, its the only safe way to reliable power. While others haven't had problems with the stock GT tranny, I can tell you that I have read about at least 10 GT trannies breaking with the 3s swap.

    2. The exhaust is full stainless so you will never have to worry about any part of rusting out due to salt on the roads.

    3. The Greddy Blow Off valve has been recirculated for better response, no backfires, and lessening of the overly rich condition of the stock ECU on the 3S.

    4. The convertible top and all electronics work flawlessly.

    5. A/C and cruise are operational - unlike many swaps.

    6. I also have an Apexi Active Tail Silencer which "should" greatly reduce the exhaust drone which occurs with all swaps having 3" straight through exhaust piping (no cats). Of course, the ATS opens up when you get on it so it will be louder under WOT. Still brand new, have not tested since recieving it.

Also, the engine and tranny have approximately 50,000-55,000 miles. (30,000 since installed in my car)

Thanks for all the interest in parts, but I would like to try and sell as is for now. I will keep all PM's and if and when I decide to part I will be in touch with those who expressed interest in parts.

    Bump for the new years!

Will entertain reasonable offers...can also flex om price by parting, if you wouldn't mind more of a stock look (headlights, hood, rims etc)
