I could easily see that getting shut down. Isn't that a huge invasion of privacy, or are they allowed to put mug shots of someone who ran a red light? Seems fucked

I believe mugshots are under public "domain" in the states, so if the police want to release them to the press, or twitter or whatever then they are able to do so.

Thankfully Alberta did away with this policy.. I just today paid over $500 to get my vehicle registered.
