Well, like it or not, when you see Rage's car, it's kinda hard to miss it is him. Rage - saw you going up Crowchild around 4:30 today.

It looks nice. Original looking for sure - though I personally would probably leave it gloss.

The Ferrari on the other hand, looks pretty sick. But then, it's a freakin Ferrari - it would look great in any colour or sheen. Except maybe matte pink.

Thanks guys for the comments. Just an update...

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I got the car back. I haven't washed, rinsed, or even swept the dust off the car, and it looks spotless clean except in direct sunlight where you can see the dust. The zero maintenance aspect of it is worth every penny! I've never owned a car that's so easy to keep clean. Do nothing! Coming from owning just black cars, it's the complete opposite in terms of maintenance.

My windows and chrome parts look dirty as hell though haha, covered in dust, fingerprints, waterspots, just nasty. Hell, even my interior cluster cover is dusty as hell.

No rock chips on the vinyl at all. And I've been driving like a douche.

Are you using any type of spray protectant for the PPF? Also, did you get windshield protection film as well? I'm curious about how good windshield protection film is.

It looks quite interesting - I'm curious though how you'll like it in the long-term.

For me, I found matte to be interesting for 2 or 3months, then one day I was looking at it and thought 'huh, okay, this kind of sucks now that I've got over that trend'. Heh

Btw, for those who know a little bit about detailing and wraps, can/will wraps micro-marr? For example, let's say your wrap is filthly with dirt and you aggressively rub your finger in one spot, then clean it, then shine inspection lighting or sunlight right on that spot, will it be flawless still, or show micro-marring? I'd imagine it would show micro-marring because it's just a form of plastic, like 3m clearbra....and if so, how do you polish it out? A plastic polish?

I guess someone "keyed" the matte black GTR while it was parked at Chinook Center. Apparently, the damage tore right through the wrap, and all the way down to the bare metal from the front of the car to the back.

That sucks. I am pretty sure that they GTR was done at Spy as well. As far as I've heard that guy has a 458 Italia on the way or something like that.

Hey Rage was your car parked in the Calgary Tower parkade last night?? I parked next to you... what is going on with the wrap around your mirrors, looks like it is peeling off.. and the rear bumper.. looks like the wrap is bubbling along one of the lines in the rear bumper...
Car looked really nice tho, I like it a lot...

Ya that was me. Was at Ruth's Chris last night.

As for the mirrors and bumper, I've been too busy to go get it fixed. The mirrors we suspected that might peel the way it was wrapped to get a cleaner look. It actually peeled the first night. Stretched it too much. The bubble in the bumper (front has a small one too) just need a heat gun to fix.

Like I said, been too busy to get it fixed. Probably this weekend tho!
