Good afternoon!
My name is Russell Ziegler. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and I've never owned any form of car that would interest any one of you. Infact, I own a big smelly beat up Diesel fullsize Jimmy that I beat up in the bush in the foothills of the Rockies.
However, I am here with good reason, and I sincerely hope that I am not breaking any rules with this post. Yes, I do understand that this is soliciting, but I hope the bunch of you understand, and are able to make this go viral like this place has a knack for.
Anyways, on to my story:
There is a fella from the US who is well known among the 4x4 enthusiast world who is married to a woman who has been diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). While young, and still mobile, she has already lost sight in one eye, and isn't expected to be mobile for too terribly much longer.
Branndon (the fella in question) entered a youtube contest for 100k US in the hopes that he'd be able to purchase an RV, and travel across the US & Canada while she is still physically able. He had been in the lead for a long time, as the 4x4 community as a whole has stood behind him and voted (commented) daily on his video.
However, two days ago a major youtube "celebrity" with over 62 000 subscribers to his channel logged an entry for the 100k, and has pretty much pulled the rug out from under Branndon's feet. He is honestly one of those wiggers that we all love to hate, and has no real good reason to want the cash other than just looking for a hand out.
So, I am asking Beyond.ca to work their magic, and help the 4x4 clubs of the US & Canada to propel Branndon to a win.
Now, what can you get out of this? Branndon has offered to donate $1000.00 to the forum that contributes the most votes (currently held by Pirate4x4.com), and $1000.00 to the individual who contributes the most votes. He will also place a large sticker of the winning forum on the back of his RV to help with advertisement.
What do you have to do to vote?
Just visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAv6YEGbuTs and comment on the video daily. Make sure to mention Beyond.ca, and to rate the video as well. Each individual can vote / comment once per day, and can also contribute a vote by rating the video however they wish.
Thanks for you help, and your understanding! Lets help the good guy win!
