Fantstic tip for the thrifty person who wants to experience air fresheners

Sift though the garbages at gas stations for used fresheners. Bend it and stick it in your air vents and blow warm air. Voila. Works like a charm. Cost - $0

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

air spencer squash as mentioned is probably the most popular. but i guess they only make the "cassette" style now, which has a gel/wax cartridge/refill. I personally preferred the smell of the older "stick" style ones, i found they smell slightly different. I find the new cassette style squash smells too much like gummy bears

The Air Spencer Squash one is the best but the refills are so damn expensive and they don't last very long at all. Anyone know anywhere or online that sells cheaper refills?

Personally, I shampoo the carpets once a year and clean/condition the leather every month. Keeps the smell very nice.

If I ever need to "freshen" it up, I use Febreeze automotive. It only has a scent for a couple days, then blissfully goes away to just leave a "nothing" smell. I can't stand scented fresheners.
