I'm enjoying this game so far but the load times are nearly unbearable on the PS3. I was debating over the 360 or PS3 version but got the PS3 version to keeo the dust off PS3 but I wonder if I got the wrong version as usually multi-release games run better on the 360.

Just started playing yesterday, definitely enjoying it so far. City-elf fighter.

Loading isn't too bad on xbox, I think I'll upload it to the hardrive tonight though, see if it makes it any quicker.

Though whenever I have a long load time, I just think back to playing Drakkhen on my Atari ST520 . Now THAT was bad loading times

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Is it not listed in-game from the main menu?

They gave me a Game CD key and another Key for something else.

I thought it would be installed by it self but it seems like I gotta register the product and then activate it.

    Or

Should i uninstall it and redownload? It might of been a glitch or something T.T another 4 hours

Did anybody else buy the deluxe edition that had similar problems?

    *EDIT*

    Found the steam forum

PC version loads areas in about 5-10 seconds - how long is the PS3 taking (since it's on a disc)?

Great game but LONG - only 25% through.

I've played it through twice already... I would be working on a third but STO and Mass Fucking Effect Fucking 2 of Fucking Epic Pwnage are taking my gaming time It's long but extremely good. And there are so many permutations as to how to play the game that it's boggling.

(Can you tell I like Bioware? )

I dunno how people can play on hard/insane. I'm ok on Med for most of it but it takes awhile to setup fights etc. A buddy said screw it and went easy the whole thing and enjoyed it anyway.

MA2 is next on my list but I ain't touching it till I get through this at least once.

I played most of the game on Hard but had to drop down a level for the first fight against 3 drakes. I was low on poultices and I really didn't want to go all the way back to town, travel to a shop (since I killed the Haven shopkeep), and then come all the way back.

I don't think I'll ever do a 2nd playthrough of DA:O though. It's just too damn long for me to enjoy, and I can't just run through the main quest because the side quest rewards are SO rewarding. That's what I loved about ME1. All my subsequent playthroughs were fast as hell because I could skip all the bullshit mining and planet exploring.

I just finished this game on Hard -- my first and only time so far. I got the game several months ago (maybe a year and half?). Originally I played through every bit of it on Hard. But then I got to the Archdemon and I couldn't do it. It was the definition of Hard difficulty and I asked for it. I must have tried 100 times at least. I was addicted but eventually the 100 defeats made me put it down and walk away from it. So I returned a few days ago to it, luckily I had several save points prior to the top of Fort Drakon. I gave it a dozen or so tries and maybe my brain and mindset evolved over the months and i managed to finished it off still in Hard mode (I was tempted to turn it down to normal, but didn't)... Funny enough as soon as the deathblow cut scene started, I was already thinking about when I'd start up my 2nd character and what class I'd pick and the character setop! haha

I will definitely play DA:O a few more times to experience each character class once. I can't imagine being able to try out each specialization though since the game is that epic... but you never know.

(Gaxkang was the one major thing I couldn't complete on Hard mode... come to think of I probably could now).
