What do you do when your alone and want to eat out, definitely dont want to cook, or eat fast food?
Do you do the eating alone thing at whatever restaurant/pub you feel like?
Take out?
What would you do here?

Take a good book to a quiet(ish) restaurant or pub.

i call a friend and say hey you! food? eat? yes? okay.... then we go eat
I do take out from a restraunt, like capri's on 16th, you can get a full meal, and you can take it home.
Nothing wrong with sitting alone at a quiet pub to watch the game or enjoy a pint with dinner.
order the sweet chilli chicken from Joey's to go. 2 orders... delicious
Go alone, come back with a woman friend
Ray
watch pron
all of the above.
haha i think it's EXTREMELY awkward to go to a restaurant alone
sitting there... waiting...
and then a friend of yours walks in and you look like a loner
and then there's times where you get the waiter that likes to chat
and i completely hate that because i think it's one of the most awkward convos ever (i do some serving and i completely hate when loners try to convo with me, especially during busy times)
take out is the solution, or take out fast food, that or just fast for that meal
Go to a quick service restaurant i.e., Pho, cafe's, food court etc. Bring a newspaper/magazine or surf your phone. If you are by yourself you probably just want to eat quickly and go.
Don't go to a really nice restaurant by yourself, that's kind of weird haha

The point of going to a nice restaurant is to enjoy a meal with someone else, otherwise its a no go unless your a food critic than its not weird

You know those bored stay at home moms who's entire lives revolve around driving their kids to soccer, various cleaning accessories, and worrying about neighbourhood rapists? The kind of people that watch the View and go "uh huh..." Those unfulfilled people who try to fill the void in their empty lives by writing whiny letters to the editor complaining about shit that no one really cares about?
Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Some suggestions in that thread.
The lounge side of any of the chain restaurants like Earls or BPs. Drink a couple beers, watch whatever game is on. Or read the paper.
I travel for work by myself, so I end up eating alone pretty regularly. it's not too bad.

If it's been a really bad trip, I usually end up drinking whiskey sours and eating appetizers all evening.

When I go out by myself I just talk to the wall as if someone were there. I get some looks but I don't mind, I get good food, good conversation and sometimes a handy under the table.

Although I dont travel for work I do eat alone regularly and its not too bad.
Pho would be one of the better things to eat alone. Short wait time and when you get the food its not like you're going to be talking much if you had someone at the table with you (at least I don't when I have a big bowl of pho )
Arguing over the internet is like cheering on the Oilers. Win or lose, you're still a dumbass.
