Not too surprising, guess everything is confirmed now.

There is a chance he might return to F1 in 2011.

its a whole different play ground for Raikkonen, I 'mcurious to see what would happen this year
I stopped keeping up with WRC since subaru pulled out (2 years ago?)
did loeb win last season too?
I read somewhere that if Kimi decided to just sit out the next season Ferrari would've paid him $ 17 milOriginally posted by Bigchuckers

Yep Loeb won last season but Mikko Hirvonen had the lead by a point going into Rally GB which Loeb won.
"With Raikkonen only interested in returning to F1 in a race-winning car, his best option for 2011 would appear to lie with Red Bull Racing - which has a theoretical vacancy for 2011 with Mark Webber currently only contracted until the end of next year.Originally posted by redline

Although it is not clear what Raikkonen will do next year, it is possible that he will focus his efforts on the World Rally Championship - while he sorts out an F1 return. Red Bull could be involved in his rally plans too."

even petter solberg is moving to a C4..

I hate that french bastard! hahaha.. Pretty easy to be 6 time world champ when the rest of the competition sucks... Mikko has been his only competition for the past 2 years, and before that it was Gronholm for a season or 2.Originally posted by Thi_Thi Subs

Solberg is a has been, plus he's only really got 2 choices to have any hope of competing... Ford or Citroen.
Hirvonen doesn't seem to have a problem with the Ford, everyone else just sucks, the next closest person was Loebs teammate Sordo, and he was 28pts behind... (Solberg was 60!!)
The talent in WRC is seriously lacking these days... Which is why I stopped watching...
i dunno mang.. the 2003/2004 was exciting as hell. you had all the great stars. i remember when gronholm called loeb a robot. i fuckin hate him too, but he drives so damn perfect.
