They should attach mini sand/salt distributors onto city buses. If the city ever needs to treat the roads in a situation like Friday evening, activate them remotely.

    OR

    People should buy winters.

I actually thought of using that phrase, but thought it would sound to cheesy haha.

Maybe that wouldn't be such a crazy idea. The buses represent a large fleet of vehicles out there anyways and cover a large proportion of every main road in this city. You could give the order to them to start sanding the roads instantaneously once the snow hits at almost any time.

So, are we in for more of the same today?

Just got off the roads, north central is icing up in many residential areas already even with no traffic on the roads - all due to dropping temps combined with crap that was still on the roads. And combine that with the snow that's coming down at a fairly good rate and it could be another interesting rush hour.

Driving home on Friday took me about 30? minutes extra from UofC to the deep southeast. I took a lot of back roads, though.

I was cruising along just fine up steep hills with all seasons (Cooper "Mud/snow".... lol) on my Maxima, I passed a shitload of people with Cavaliers/Neons that had winters :p

People who can't drive should be forced to have cars with DTS.... or pass a winter driving test.
