Just thought I'd share the latest shoot. I'd normally put it into the dec latest thread, but there's a LOT of photos here!
Monday is Lucas' 1st birthday and I did a formal shoot on tuesday and a cake smash yesterday.

Great photos as usual! I wanna do something similar with my girlfriend's nieces (twins).
How did you set this up? And what's the best way to clean them up afterwards? They're almost 2 (20 months right now).

Pretty simple. Roll of seamless white paper tacked to the wall of the dining room (no way in hell would I do the cake smash in my studio!) Two lights, the right settings and some experience with with photo timing children and presto! We got these photos.
As for the clean up, I just cut the piece of seamless paper off the roll (usually about 6 feet per go at it!) roll it up with the cake inside and toss it right into the garbage. As for the kid(s), I have a double sink in my kitchen, so we just make sure the sinks are both scrubbed clean, then we can just go right from the dining room to the sink (about 5 feet away).
I've done a double cake smash before (even though only one of them was the birthday boy!) and it's a bit more difficult to get the timing for the photos down, but if you know the best way to get each of them to cooperate, it's not so bad.
When Abyss and Hampstor's kid turned 1, we did one for him. However, he wasn't too into the idea of destroying the cake, so after a little while, we added Lucas in there (he was 8 months old and him and Graham are "best buds" so it worked out). Once Lucas started destroying, Graham got right into it too. And the end result (they were SO done!):
