**Winter Storm WARNING- CALGARY**

Christ I saw tons of plows today...

Grader working on the scenic acres/tuscany ramp at stoney... Then another at westhills, then 2 sanding trucks on glenmore by the casino; down in the shawnessy shopping center there was 2-3 working (mostly to clear the bus ways but still working), saw another in avenida, then 2 more on glenmore going west this time (might have been the same two actually); nose hill by crowchild - saw one sander working on the drifts around the mall...

Got home and couldn't get to the driveway, I'd been plowed in; so they've been by my house... The skating rink is gone - so they've sanded/salted...

Looks pretty good to me...

FraserB - They're stuck everywhere... Just about every major on/off ramp has a car in the snowbank; or is about to have one stuck again Make sure you've got yer winter boots, shovel and definitely bring the hi-lift... Few times last night I could have used mine... Wished I hadn't forgot it...

I've got a bright shiney nickle hamptons will look the same way again tonight - and there will be plenty of not so bright people who'll just drive into it without noticing it keeps getting deeper... Actually pretty much every community north of country hills seems to be having drifting issues...

Thanks for the gray/silver Tundra that pulled me up Country Hills Blvd around 12 last night! I was happly going home on southbound deerfoot around 10am this morning when some stupid silver Toyota Matrix missed his exit to 16th AVE and cut me off to get on the exit ramp. He was going maybe 10km/h and I was going 50ish because I just got off of deerfoot. Long story short, I had to run into a pile of snow to avoid him and the Highlander behind me did also. Spent 1hr plus digging my car out, and a tow truck had to winch me out. Luckly you didnt stop, I would have punched you in the face. Honest to god, I was hoping you got stuck in a bigger ditch after you cut me off.

Dumptruck snow plow sat around for a hour or so before he left after doing nothing. It's way too deep. Then one of those long yellow ones showed up and got stuck trying to push snow off the road.

I gave up after that and went back home.

Just peeked out the window and he's gone.... nothing cleared.

Ehh, thanks for the update! I have no frickin clue as to what to do tomorrow morning!!

Haha I have a big pile right behind my car so when ppl slide out of control they hit my snow bunker instead.

With this volume of snowfall, many people are clearing the snow on the STREET to the sides so that they can get onto their driveways without getting stuck.

Edit: As a side note, I went for a bit this afternoon, and I didn't see a single vehicle stuck in Tuscany (or anywhere along my travels)...
