Why don't owners of big trucks ever back them in? It's WAY easier and you actually park STRAIGHT for a change.
I could be wrong, but that looks like one of the trucks that NEEDS to take up a few spots...Originally posted by Sentry

that white van, the other van to the right. Who knows where the fuck the lines are supposed to be.
Maybe that guy parked next to someone when the store opened and it filled in around him. I did that at chinook once when I was working there, parked next to some vehicles which were cleaning or security. When I came out I was sideways in 3 spots, and the snow had melted, but I sure didnt see it when I showed up.

Maybe his truck broke down?
Most of us pickup drivers need big trucks, we don't work in offices and we don't work at future shop like most of the people on this forum. My dodge is literally twice the size and weight as my rsx, so why shouldn't it need two parking spots? Also if you drive a 2wd compact car full time in the winter you need to be slapped, take a look at the accident reports.

haha you're going to play proportions into your decision to take up more than one spot? guess that means smart drivers only need half a spot. im sorry but honestly your trucks extra weight doesnt make it more wider than it does make it higher, longer, or heavier under the hood, just because your truck is 2x the weight of your rsx doesnt mean that its 2x as wide.Originally posted by Rui M

and your argument about 2wd compact cars...pretty sure ive seen more SUV's flip over in slippery weather than i have cars. also pretty sure there's a vast difference between cars with fwd vs rwd, traction control, ABS, winter tires, and so on.
and on a side note, pretty sure ur sig is against forum rules, can't advertise a business without paying.
I can fit my F-350 in 1 parking spot at future shop no problem.Originally posted by Rui M

You only need two spaces if you pull in forward and park crooked as fuck. If the space is wide enough and you back it in, you'll only take up the width of the truck plus a bit on both sides for the doors.Originally posted by Zhariak

I worked wash bay/lot attendant at a Ford dealership for almost two years, 80% of the vehicles were trucks (often Superdutys), and they all needed to either be parked in a cramped wash bay or a cramped parking spot out in the lot. So I'm not just speaking from experience with a little Civic hatch.
, I have similar experiencing with moving dually's and half-ton+ trucks at Carters. These trucks are no wider than a lane, nor are the parking spots. There is no excuse for the douchey parking.Originally posted by Sentry

I'm going to start parking like a total douche until my car ends up on beyond.
