I'm fucking tired of the steaming shit that YouTube is trying to infect my eyes with.
Who is with me that they have completely lost their minds on what videos are showing up in your feeds? What's an alternative or a solution to get this to fuck off? Because it's becoming unwatchable.

I've been signed in for years, I click [Like] or [Dislike] every once in a while and I have a few subscriptions. It is not complicated what to put in front of me to get me to click.
BBQ, Aussie Man, South Park, Hoonigan, Joe Rogan, SavageGeese, Norm MacDonald, ChrisFix, Mahk, Robot Chicken and some music videos. That doesn't paint a picture of someone who might be interested in a Japanese girl talking about her pet hedgehog.

I'm getting a callous on my thumb recently from selecting "NOT interested" and "DON'T RECOMMEND CHANNEL" and it's not getting better. I've never watched a French video or a video in a language that looks like squiggles to me. Minecraft, Bollywood, Pokemon, Jake Paul, and other juvenile video games are as interesting to me as Barbara Walters porn.

I am. There are plenty of Ads videos that are suggested but they are identified and I just scroll right by those. I don't click them and there's nothing I can do about them (maybe they go away with YT Premium). I can live with that. Here's one:

I think 11.99/month, the only reason I tried it is I got free 4 months with a new phone I got recently. Though I will agree that it is way better using it now, I am still unsure if I will keep it after the free trial for the exact same reason as you. Haha. But if I don't keep it, I will also not complain about how ridiculous and frequent the ads have become in the recent years. Used to be maybe 1 30 sec add in a full 10-15 min video and now they fuckin put adds every 3 minutes or some stupid shit and some you can't even skip.

Youtube and Google are both insanely accurate for searches. People don't remember the days of dialup and Altavista, where you would do a search on cute cats, and you would get a Llama every fifth search.

If you get a Ru Paul video, maybe the AI knows more about you than you know about yourself.

However: TikTok takes it to another level compared to Youtube search. Chinese tech is superior in that respect.

Jesus, I wonder if that is a tranny! I tried a Google search on another browser in incognito mode and I still can't fully figure out what that is. I saw the word Cameroon, so I guess that's French and I think she's a human female from some of the other pictures, but that particular screen shot is quite unflattering.

Good news, though! If you've ever watched a Metallica video and showed an interest in particle accelerators, YouTube has you covered. There's nothing you'll enjoy more than watching the 47th flamingest homosexual on earth put makeup on for 20 fucking solid minutes!! We definitely know that you haven't watched a 20min YouTube video of anything, ever and that even 7min is a stretch, but we know that the first 20min video you ever watch will be this one!

If you start a Firefox private session and go to Youtube, you basically start with a clean slate. And you'll probably see stuff like Mr. Beast, Late night shows clips and Mark Rober etc that's mainstream popular.

It's not hard for vids with millions of views to pop back in when Youtube run out of stuff to show you. Even stuff you already watched. This guy has created multiple channels so you need to do wack a mole with "don't not recommend channel" with his stuff. And that dumb face? It's been scientifically proven a thumbnail trick that drive views. The other is change title 3-4 times over the 1st week.

Also the 2023 adpocalypse may change things too.

It's clearly, clearly, clearly not working correctly when it's trying to show me videos in a few different languages that I don't speak, let alone the content missing the mark by 180°.
I have hit "Don't Recommend Channel" on probably 100 videos since January 1. It may be getting slightly better, but I don't think so.
I am considering deleting all history at some point.
