Yeah man, never have I felt such discomfort in a car in my life. They whiz right by pedestrians...scary stuff.Originally posted by psycoticclown
And the roads are narrower too, so you feel like you're going way faster. And drivers don't stop for pedestrians jaywalking so it always feels like they're gonna hit somebody.
My uncle is a taxi driver and I remember him driving us to the airport one time. we were on the highway going out to the airport and it was 2 lanes and there were 2 trucks in front of us and my uncle tailgated em like crazy, kept switching lanes to get around. At some points, our front bumper was literally 3 inches away from one of the trucks and this was all at 100kmph. It was freaky as shit.
Getting a driver's license in HK is much harder than anywhere in Canada. Most drivers in HK are better than most drivers in Canada. The problem with some asian drivers in Canada is that they have never driven before coming to Canada and therefore are just as bad as non-asian drivers here.

Try taking one of those 14 or 16 passengers van/bus there. I almost fell out of my seat a few times.
That's right, better not jaywalk. Vehicles will NOT stop for you, the driver will yell at you, honk, and tell you to move it.
And you better step on the gas as soon as the light turns green. If you are half a sec. late, hundred of cars will be honking at you.
I actually love it there... very fast pace.
Once again proving that news companies still haven't heard of Google.Originally posted by C4S
