IE problem

Computer is running windows XP.

Only one browser is allowed open, the second browser that opens crashes and has one of those "send an error report to Microsoft" dialog boxes.

Also crashes on some sites that popup a new window.

Any suggestions? or just try reinstalling IE? (its on a friends computer now with me right now)

reinstall windows... IE is incorporated into windows and thats the easiest way to fix it that ive found, not including throwing my POS PC through nearest window!

Can you reinstall XP without backing up and reinstalling your personal files? Which way to do that? Before I just put the XP cd in and hit install windows XP....it took about 1/2 hour but the problem was still there.

you might get away by just uninstalling IE then reinstalling it...i don't know, i haven't had such a problem before

yah but how to uninstalL IE? Its not listed in the add/remove programs thing
