Yah, it is massive and everything looks good. About same draw distance as GTAIV, but I cant complain with all the detail they put in. Lots of animals to hunt, people to interact with and such. Herding is a PITA though.

$60!? I just picked mine up at eb for $65... Crap, kinda feel ripped off now. Anyways yea, if anyone's looking into picking it up, FS looks to be the best place to go.

Looks like futureshop updated their trade in list, all TIV's dropped hardcore. i ended up buying it outright. also futureshop is giving away a copy of the good the bad and the ugly on blu ray when you buy the game (or trade in towards it)

No it was $65 plus tax at eb. Maybe it was because I pre-ordered it last month, and they dropped the price to match USD pricing lately? Ah well, I got some pre-order bonus, and it's only 5 bucks so I'm not gonna return it or anything.

I was actually going to pick up this for the PS3 because I got Alan Wake for the 360 but apparently the game looks better on the 360.

I played it on ps3 during the day and later on 360 at a buddies house, i saw no difference except the xbox version loads faster during autosaves.

I assume that is due to being installed on the HDD.

Side note im not a PS3 Fanboy, im actually more on the MS side.

I played SP for a good 3 hrs or so yesterday, i like it in the sense that they really take horses and the fact of being in the desolate wild west to the core, nice change from getting into a car and having traffic/pedestrians everywhere - you can jump on your horse and ride straight forever almost literally, ppl randomly camping here and there, the abundance of animals that just appear, guns of the period are also a nice change, rudimentary semi-autos ftw lol love the setup campfire in the middle of nowhere for save game too, so convenient.

The vividness of the terrain during sunset is amazing, the foliage (not really green yet where i am but desert type of dry plants/cactus's ), even tumble weed physics are great lol I'm on 360, brother was playing on PS3 and i did notice difference in what each GPU can pump out, little less sharpness on what was supposed to be straight edge/defined on the 360, but its not extreme difference IMO, both mine and his played with HDMI for reference.

When are we doing the beyond posse then?!!? lol i tried about 15 mins of MP, saw a posse of guys in the match sticking together and pretty much annihilating all of us lone wolfs, definitely advantage to being in one.

not really a spoiler to the game story but did anyone else come across the one guy camping in the middle of nowhere? he stands out of the brush and all i see is him and and the top of his tent, he called me to come 'take a load off', so i go over and he whips out his gun starts shooting me, shot him, notice a lady tied up next to his camp asking for help, untie her and look around: human hands and feet in bloody buckets and a fire burning away iirc lol, nice touch by Rockstar to leave you wondering wtf this guy was doing in the middle of the desert...

Such a fun game, I love that you can hunt and skin animals for money.lol I keep getting side tracked from the game with all the random shit you can do.

yeah my 3 hours playing, half of it was running around picking herbs and skinning animals to complete those challenges, i went buck wild (no pun intended) hunting animals for the longest time and returned to Armadillo to find i had a bounty on my head for animal cruelty, animal abuse or whatever lol, i guess you either have to hunt far away from ppl or in moderation.
