    Default NEED HELP B16A swap into 1992 Integra

    Hey just doing the engine swap on my 1992 Integra Base. Ran into a couple obstacles.






    FYI

    We are re using the ls transmission with the B16A

    The car and motor are both OBD1

    Does anyone know if this is an aftermarket intake manifold on the B16a? Here is a picture of the B16 manifold beside the old LS one (which is still on the motor). There are several vaccum inputs on the old LS manifold that aren't present on the new B16a manifold. Any input here would be appreciated.




    where are these vaccum lines supposed to hook up on the new motor?

    That is just a plain jane sirII b16 intake manifold.

    The extra lines you picture last are off the MAP sensor and the purge solenoid. the teg is using an obd0 style MAP.

    an obd1 throttle body should have a MAP sensor on it, and yours does not, so you will need to find a way to get vacuum to the firewall-mounted MAP sensor.

    the two "canister" looking things are the purge solenoid and you can leave it unhooked IIRC.

    Sorry that should be a question. Is the bottom line for the MAP?

    take off the round solinides, throw in garbage. square box is map, get rid of vacuum line clusterfuck hook one line from map up to engine vacuum. then your good to go.
