This is just a notice of warning to fellow beyonders.
I'm still in the process of working it out with said user but until then I'd say buyer beware.
The situation:
I bought a White PS3 controller from 403vi3t after seeing it on this the following thread...
http://forums.beyond.ca/st/289122/fs...ck-controller/
He was nice enough to deliver it to me and I gave him the $40 he was asking.
After coming home from work I tried out the controller and the general feel of the controller was off. After trying it out it turns out that all the buttons were pretty sticky, and if you press the the R3 toggle to the top left it will get stuck and needs to be forced unstuck.
Also the casing of the remote wasn't seamless which brings me to believe that it's an ebay style fake.
I called him back a few times and after a few no answer called he replied to my PM saying, "This isn't futureshop, There's nothing I can do"
It's not to big a deal to me cause it's only $40 bucks but I just don't think fake or defective items should be sold to fellow boardies without properly stating the items condition.
Like I said before I'm still trying to work it out with the user, but I'd say if he puts anything else for sale I'd beware, or at least carefully inspect the item before purchasing it.
This is partly my fault for not fully inspecting the controller before paying for it but I was in a hurry to get to work.
