Default Any Fitness Gyms in Panorama area

I live in the panorama area, and my annual pass at cardel place just expired. I mainly use them for the fitness center only so wondering if there's any other gyms in the area before i consider renewing my annual membership there.

All the small gyms are females only in the area, the closet one i can think of is either WHC in edgemont or Gold's gym in northland... which is a little too far.

    any recommendations?

Edgemont WHC is not worth it if you are only using the weight area.

This is not really in the Panorama area, but doing down centre street to around 16th ave. Try out Remington's gym, owner operated and a completely different feel then a commercial gym.

There's the anytime fitness in the Creekside shopping center across from kincora.

I don't know how much it costs though.

We go to the pool at Shaganappi and John Laurie, by the Walmart. Very cheap, weight room is pretty small, but for the most part, has all you need, and never busy, well at least not on Friday nights when we go.

To be honest, I think Cardel is the closest and most convenient for you. I wouldn't go anywhere too far just to save that $10-20 each month. Beacon Hill, Edgemont are all about 10 minutes away from Panorama. I don't think it's worth the commute time each time you go to the gym, especially if you are going to the gym multiple times each week.

Stick to Cardel Place, perhaps use more it's facilities to get your money's worth. I've been a member since they opened.

    I'd stick to Cardel.
My only gripe about that place though is that it's littered with fcking high school kids from Notre Dame. Fridays and Mondays get really annoying.

Goodlife opens Beginning or mid April. I think it's 24/5 and it's 20 bi-weekly on 2 year contract and right now there's 12 weeks free so you don't have to pay until July 2010. I signed up there.

There's a small gym near Rona in Kincora/Evanston. I forgot what it's called though.

    Thanks
It's in the Beacon hill plaza right between the Home Depot and GolfTown. There's a showhome/trailer right in front of the store front.

There are only workers in construction hats in the real building. Hope this helps.

Yup couldn't agree more. But sometimes it's funny seeing them trying to act all huge lifting "heavy' weights with bad form haha.
