What: Beyond.ca "Calling All Surrounding Cities" Red Deer Meet

Where: Urban Planet, East parking lot. (4747 67 Street,Red Deer, AB)

When: Sunday, June 6, 12:00pm

Details: Meet at urban planet @ 12:00pm, Cruise out to sylvan lake @ 1:00pm, Stop at Wal-mart in Sylvan lake to gather everybody @ 1:30pm, Cruise down lakeshore in Sylvan lake @ 2:00pm, head back to red deer @ 2:30pm, do a circle around red deer, and meet back up where we started.

Yeah, i would be down! One big "supermeet" would be pretty epic! Heck, if done correctly, it could be almost going to WOW without the pricetag!

This is why i would rather it be more of a "cruise" than a "meet". I think we would all agree that we build our cars to drive them, not to stand around and talk about them. Right?

WSC did the whole Red Deer Meet last year and apparently it was a huge hit.

I agree though, meet and cruise.

mabe we could get some free space (parking lot or something) and have some fun with our cars too?? any one in red deer know of any good asphalt we can use for that? of course it would have to be ok with all local law enforcement and owners!

Did a Sylvan cruise last summer with the Honda guys and it was a good time. Had a little bbq session when we got there (thanks again to the chef)

I would do it again in a heartbeat.

A perfect spot would be the old "Sears" parking lot in the north end, connected to the Parkland mall. Now its some Urban Outfitters clothing store or something, and the old overflow lot is usually empty now like 99% of the time. A bunch of us locals always meet there and we have never been hassled.
