Where to buy a less expensive Flames Jersey?

Okay, so im in the market for a flames jersey, ideally a Phaneuf XL RBK Edge.

Anyone have either any connections or ideas where to get one without spending copious amounts of money?

I have a friend who looks on ebay exclusively and has found half a dozen ranging from 20-50 bucks, all legit, all big name players and all brand new; I however have not been as luckey. Cheapest I have found is around $80-100.

You can get them from some online sites from Asia. They're like replica jerseys. Good quality from what my buddies say, they just made a group buy for some on another site.

I think they ranged in price from $25-60 with names, numbers and all the stitching

Any idea what the names of these replica sites would be? I have found a couple, they all look pretty sketchy though, it would be nice to know of one that is legit.

the replica flames ones look cheap, look for the off color ones at the dome (those are the fakes) these people think they bought the pro model with fight strap but they are cheap replicas.

Um, well the ones that my friends ordered are not a different color and minus the RBK logo on the front, look identical to the real thing.

I did a side by side with my authentic one, and the differences I spotted were:

1) No Reebok patch at the bottom left front.
2) Rubberized flag patches are cheaper feel.
3) Reebok sign under the neck on the back is a full red patch vs. stiched in.
4) Numbers have a coarser texture.
5) White ribbing along the bottom front/back isn't the same, less raised.
6) The Reebok lettering on the inside neck line is black instead of silver (no one can see it while you are wearing it).
7) Fight strap (lol, might come in handy).


They are planning to do another group buy I think in the next couple weeks, you can see it on the website, I'm sure you could order with them if you wanted. There are pics on the site too of all the jerseys they ordered and side by side comparisons. You have to be a member to see it all though...

I get mine from a friend who's co-worker works for the company that produces the NHL jerseys.

I got an authentic new style RBK Flames one with all the logos and twill lettering and #s for $120, not sure if that is cheap?

there are some guys selling flames jerseys around the start of game time on the +15 that goes over mcloud by the stampeed c train station. probably stolen but i think they were asking $100 for a jersey, you could probably haggle the price down to 75-80 haha

I was at the game the other night and they were selling Phaneuf jerseys for 50% off. Don't know if they were RBK and what the regular price is. Call Fan Attic or something and see. You could always put some white tape through the name, and use tape to spell the name of the player you want to represent LOL. Someone did that at the game and I thought it was funny. They swapped Phaneuf for White.
