u dont need a pass to buy, but usually there is a huge line up to get in at the stampede, maybe w/ a pass u can just skip the line and go rite to shopping

nope, a pass gives you access the day before from 4-6. but its still damn crazy. there are like a billions passes given out. Last year was nuts!

I'm not sure what "cost" is but the prices there are enough to attract me. I believe soundsaround orders massive quantities of parts and blow it all out for that one event.

My friend USED TOO (that's the key) work at Soundsaround... he told me that the “BIG SOUNDSAROUND SALE” contains 87% factory reconditioned equipment. Granted there's nothing wrong with that... but throughout the year... when returns are made and what not, they collect everything and then take one day to sell everything again... kinda like regurgitating food...Originally posted by max_boost

It was once new... then sold... then returned or claimed under warrantee and then resold in September during the BIG SOUNDSAROUND SALE!
