48" rear projection is the main - 13 feet away

42" plasma in the bedroom about 12 feet away.

Probably be upgrading to an OLED this year.

Thanks for all th input on this.

I want to build a built in wall unit, and wanted to know what size of tv opening to make in the unit.

Sounds like I shouyld go big, that way if we sell that house the new owners can upgrade tv sizes if necessary.

Maybe a opening for a 60" would be good? Leaving room to upgrade as large screen tv prices come down.

    Thoughts?

    52 in the living room.
    51 for the kids downstairs.
    36 in the boys room.
    27 in the girls room.
    32 in my bedroom.
and a couple of old tube TVs laying around not being used right now.

I have way too many TVs. I also watch shows on my 2 19" monitors at my computer, my 17" laptop, and my 7" Archos when I'm away from home.

Just curious what projector you're using? Not many other guys on here using projectors it seems.
